Waitress

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Waitress to join our restaurant team in Lagos. You will be the face of our hospitality service, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to tables, and present menus.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly and courteously.
• Check on guests during service, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Clear and reset tables, maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
• Process payments using cash or POS systems and issue receipts.
• Assist with opening, closing, and restocking service stations.
• Promote menu items and special offers to boost sales.
• Support banquet, catering, or special events as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE or equivalent; hospitality certification is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience as a waitress or in a customer‑service role.
• Excellent communication, friendly demeanor, and professional appearance.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and basic numeracy for handling bills.
