About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Social Media Manager to join our remote team. This full‑time volunteer position will support our mission of empowering learners through digital education by shaping our online presence.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage and optimize accounts across major platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content that resonates with our audience.
- Monitor performance metrics and analytics to assess impact and refine tactics.
- Collaborate with the leadership and program teams to ensure consistent messaging.
Required profile
- Proven proficiency in social media marketing and optimization techniques.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to craft compelling copy.
- Experience designing content strategies for educational or nonprofit initiatives.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with digital learning resources is a plus.
