Travel and Visa Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Travel and Visa Consultant to join our Lagos office. You will guide clients through travel planning, flight and accommodation bookings, and manage visa and relocation applications for a variety of destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and assist clients with travel planning, flight, accommodation and travel insurance bookings.
• Handle visa and relocation applications for countries such as the USA, Canada, UK, Schengen Zone, Asia and Africa.
• Develop customized travel and study packages based on client needs.
• Provide expert guidance on visa requirements, documentation and interview preparation.
• Liaise with embassies, visa centres, airlines and global partners to ensure smooth processing.
• Maintain accurate records of applications, transactions and communications.
• Follow up with clients, provide status updates and upsell additional services.
• Offer after‑sales support and collect feedback to improve service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, International Relations or related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in a travel agency or visa processing role.
• Strong knowledge of visa procedures for major destinations (USA, Canada, UK, Schengen).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple applications simultaneously.
• A passion for travel and customer satisfaction.

Required skills

• Familiarity with GDS booking systems such as Amadeus and Sabre.
• Experience using CRM tools.
