Training & Development Specialist – Remote (up to $75/hr)

About the role

The Training & Development Specialist will design and deliver engaging learning programs for a variety of remote audiences. Working on a contract basis, you will create clear objectives, instructional materials, and assessment tools that drive measurable learner outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define clear, measurable learning objectives tailored to specific program audiences.
• Design end‑to‑end learning pathways, including modules, activities, and assessments.
• Create instructional content such as presentations, guides, and digital resources.
• Develop basic assessment tools (quizzes, rubrics) to evaluate learner progress.
• Collaborate with stakeholders remotely to ensure alignment and clarity throughout the project.
• Iterate on program design based on feedback and evolving requirements.
• Document processes and best practices for consistent quality and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in training, instructional design, adult learning, or a related field.
• Strong ability to define learning outcomes and map them to activities and assessments.
• Experience creating educational content for diverse, remote audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for virtual collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and adapt to changing project needs.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and committed to high‑quality, learner‑centric solutions.
