Ticketing Agent

About the role

The Ticketing Agent will manage flight reservations, issue and modify tickets for both domestic and international routes, ensuring accurate and timely service for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Book, issue, reissue, and cancel domestic and international flight tickets.
• Handle flight reservations and itinerary modifications.
• Advise clients on optimal flight options, fares, and travel routes.
• Process refunds, exchanges, and ticket revalidation according to airline policies.
• Maintain accuracy of all travel bookings and related documentation.
• Provide professional customer support before, during, and after ticket issuance.
• Stay updated on airline schedules, fare changes, travel regulations, and visa requirements.
• Resolve ticketing issues and customer complaints efficiently.
• Maintain booking records and prepare periodic reports.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure excellent service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Ticketing Agent in a travel or tours agency.
• Strong knowledge of airline ticketing procedures and fare rules.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
• Professional certifications in airline ticketing or travel management are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
