TESCOM Teachers and Staff Recruitment 2024 – Oyo State

About the role

The Oyo State Post‑Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) is inviting applications for a range of vacant positions in public secondary schools and for support staff across the state. Eligible candidates can apply for teaching posts in subjects such as English, Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Accounting, Yoruba, French, Geography, Basic Technology, History, Government, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Physical and Health Education, Guidance and Counselling, and CRK/IRS. In addition, non‑teaching positions are open for Day/Night Watchmen, Clerical Officers, Assistant Executive Officers (General Duties and Accounts) and Secretaries/Typists. Applications must be obtained from the TESCOM Secretariat in Ibadan or any zonal office between 11 February and 24 February 2024, with a fee of ₦1,000 payable to the listed banks. Completed forms, together with the required documents, must be submitted by 24 February 2024. Short‑listed candidates will be invited to a computer‑based test and interview.

Required profile

• Teaching candidates must hold a National Certificate in Education (NCE) or a relevant Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.Sc., B.Ed.) from a recognised institution, plus SSCE with at least five credits including English and Mathematics, NYSC discharge or exemption, and valid identification documents.
• Non‑teaching staff must meet the specific educational criteria for each role (e.g., SSCE with required credits, OND in Public Administration or Financial Accounting for Assistant Executive Officers) and provide the same identification documents as teachers.
