Technology & Innovation Delivery Domain Lead

About the role

The Technology & Innovation (T&I) Delivery Domain Lead is a partner‑level position responsible for end‑to‑end ownership of KPMG's largest multi‑country technology transformation programmes across Africa. The role drives revenue growth, leads complex engagements and builds executive relationships across financial services, telecoms, energy and government sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Own a personal revenue target of USD 8‑10 million per year and lead pursuit of large multi‑country deals from qualification to contract signing.
• Chair internal deal review and investment committees to ensure commercial discipline and margin protection.
• Develop and maintain C‑suite, ministerial and board‑level client relationships within the assigned domain or geography.
• Collaborate with alliance partners (Microsoft, ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle) to convert pipeline into signed, margin‑protected engagements.
• Provide hands‑on delivery leadership for large engagements, overseeing multidisciplinary teams, managing RAID risks and protecting gross margins of ≥30%.
• Sign off on scope changes, subcontractor engagements and commercial variations.
• Contribute to T&I growth strategy, annual planning and headcount decisions.
• Mentor managers, senior managers and directors to build the next generation of domain experts.

Required profile

• Partner‑level experience with a proven track record of delivering multi‑country technology transformation programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve high revenue targets and manage large, complex portfolios.
• Strong executive‑level relationship building skills across financial services, telecoms, energy and government.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving margin‑focused delivery.
• Ability to mentor senior talent and contribute to thought leadership.
