Technical Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Manager to drive the growth of our technical and medical equipment portfolio in Lagos. The role combines deep technical knowledge with strong sales acumen to win new business and nurture existing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for technical and medical equipment.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends and competitor activities.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, client‑focused value propositions.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, corporate clients and partners.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations and contracts.
• Negotiate pricing and terms and close high‑value deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery, installation and client satisfaction.
• Provide after‑sales support, including training and technical guidance.
• Monitor sales performance, maintain accurate records and meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Represent the company at industry events and provide feedback on product improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in medical equipment.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and client‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and commercially aware.
