Technical Lead

About the role

Commit Software is seeking a Technical Lead to drive technical excellence across its product portfolio. In this hands‑on leadership role you will guide architecture, delivery, and engineering teams from pre‑sales through release, ensuring high‑quality, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Author or co‑author Software Design Documents and enforce architecture standards.
• Validate implementation feasibility, surface risks early, and oversee integrations with DevOps, data platforms, and third‑party systems.
• Define pull‑request, branching, and static/dynamic analysis standards; conduct high‑impact code and design reviews.
• Partner with Product and Project Managers to align engineering stories with roadmap priorities and manage risks.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, hold regular 1‑on‑1s, and foster a collaborative, psychologically safe culture.
• Act as the technical bridge between engineering, product, DevOps, data teams, and external vendors.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, or Senior Software Engineer.
• Strong background in software architecture and design.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into business language.
