Technical Assistant – Project Support

About the role

The Technical Assistant will provide direct technical and administrative support to the Managing Director, ensuring smooth execution of architectural, engineering, and construction projects. This role bridges the gap between senior management and project teams, handling documentation, analysis, and stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Managing Director with technical and administrative tasks.
• Coordinate and monitor ongoing construction, engineering, and architectural projects.
• Attend meetings on behalf of the MD, preparing reports, minutes, and action plans.
• Conduct research, feasibility studies, and technical analyses as required.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, documentation, and quality control.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, technical reports, and business correspondence.
• Monitor project performance to ensure deadlines are met.
• Support operational and strategic decision‑making for the management team.
• Represent the MD when delegated and provide leadership support to project teams.
• Contribute to business development, process improvement, and organizational growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, Project Management, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of project management and business operations.
• Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership potential with capacity for greater responsibilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit or other design/project management software.
