Systems Administrator

About the role

Multipro Consumer Products Limited is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage and support its IT infrastructure in Lagos. The role involves ensuring the reliability, security and performance of servers, networks and end‑user environments across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, operating systems and business applications.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, email systems and user accounts.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, and provide first‑ and second‑level support.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery processes and data restoration.
• Apply software updates, patches and security fixes to maintain system integrity.
• Configure and maintain printers, scanners, network devices and other IT peripherals.
• Oversee antivirus, firewall and endpoint security solutions.
• Maintain LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN and internet connectivity.
• Control user access rights and enforce IT security policies.
• Document IT assets, configurations and procedures accurately.
• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs, licensing and technical support.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance performance, reliability and security.
• Support IT infrastructure projects, technology deployments and system upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure support.
• Experience in the FMCG or manufacturing sector is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and maintain thorough documentation.
