System & Cloud Administrator

About the role

Systemverse Solutions is seeking a proactive System & Cloud Administrator to join its Lagos office. You will be responsible for maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable cloud services and providing day‑to‑day technical support to staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support on‑premise and cloud‑based IT systems to guarantee optimal performance.
• Provide first‑line technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end‑users.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose connectivity problems and implement corrective actions.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions and enforce security controls.
• Document system configurations, procedures and changes in an up‑to‑date knowledge base.
• Perform regular system backups, verify data integrity and restore operations when needed.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with up to 24 months of relevant experience.
• CompTIA A+ certification.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is a plus.

Required skills

• CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with Linux system administration.
• Help‑desk or junior administrator experience.
