Software Engineer Internship – Build Real Features

About the role

Join Lak-Che as a Software Engineer Intern and contribute to real product features across multiple platforms. You will work side‑by‑side with senior engineers on both backend and frontend tasks, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship features for KonectX, HibisXpert, and LakcheLink.
• Collaborate on backend and frontend tickets, participate in code reviews and release cycles.
• Support AI/RAG pipeline work for legal‑domain retrieval and evaluation on HibisXpert.
• Curate and evaluate legal corpora, analyse usage and network data.
• Work with KonectX’s Celo‑based token economy, wallet integrations and on‑chain settlement logic.
• Assist the security team with access control, secure coding practices and vulnerability triage.

Required profile

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field (self‑taught experience accepted).
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced startup.
• Based in Lagos or able to work from Lagos, Nigeria.
• French language ability is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Git and GitHub.
