Social Media Assistant – Content Creation & Engagement

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Social Media Assistant to join our fast‑growing beauty and fashion brand in Lagos. You will be responsible for creating and publishing engaging content that showcases our products, supports promotions, and strengthens our online community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and produce short videos, product photos, captions and simple graphics for our social channels.
• Develop weekly content calendars aligned with product launches, promotions and brand direction.
• Publish posts consistently across all company platforms and monitor performance.
• Respond professionally to comments, messages and product enquiries.
• Identify trends and generate fresh content ideas suitable for the brand.
• Assist in organising and executing photo‑shoots, product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain an organised library of images, videos and other assets.
• Track basic social media metrics and prepare weekly performance updates.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging captions.
• Comfortable creating high‑quality content using a smartphone.
• Good eye for visual presentation, trends and brand consistency.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and handle online customer enquiries professionally.
