Service Engineer

About the role

Ascentech is seeking a Service Engineer to join its automotive and aviation team in Lagos. You will provide on‑site technical support, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose technical faults and perform effective troubleshooting.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Respond to customer service calls and provide on‑site support.
• Prepare service reports and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Support equipment commissioning and testing.
• Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in service engineering, maintenance, or a similar technical role.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work independently or within a team.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
