Senior Full Stack Software Developer

About the role

Home Fairy Technologies Limited is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of its backend services, mobile app, and admin dashboard. You will work closely with the CEO, operations, and product teams to turn business needs into robust technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and manage PostgreSQL databases with Prisma ORM.
• Build and enhance mobile features in React Native and Expo for iOS and Android.
• Create and support the administrative dashboard using Next.js.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, including payment gateways such as Flutterwave.
• Implement real‑time functionality with Socket.io.
• Handle caching and background jobs using Redis and BullMQ.
• Manage cloud storage on AWS S3 and Cloudinary.
• Integrate services for KYC, notifications, email, and AI components.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve production issues; monitor performance and error tracking.
• Participate in code reviews, write clean documentation, and ensure best development practices.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and REST API design.
• Proven expertise with PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Hands‑on experience with React Native, Expo, and Next.js.
• Experience integrating third‑party APIs and payment gateways (Flutterwave a plus).
