Security Supervisor

About the role

The Security Supervisor will lead and coordinate the security team across Meditrack Limited’s facilities in Lagos, ensuring the safety of staff, visitors and assets. This full‑time role involves overseeing guard shifts, monitoring security systems and responding to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of all security guards across assigned locations or shifts.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Prepare duty rosters and maintain adequate guard coverage at all times.
• Monitor surveillance, access‑control and alarm systems.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents and alarms, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Investigate security breaches or unusual incidents and produce detailed reports.
• Train new security personnel on policies, emergency procedures and job expectations.
• Liaise with clients, management, law enforcement and emergency responders when required.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, shift reports and guard attendance.
• Ensure security personnel uphold discipline, grooming and professional conduct.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in any field.
• At least 2 years of security experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Relevant security certifications or training from recognized institutions (e.g., NSCDC, DSS).
• Experience in facility management, corporate or residential environments.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.
