Security Personnel

About the role

We are looking for a vigilant Security Personnel to protect guests, staff and assets at Teestone Hotel and Apartment in Lagos. The role involves monitoring premises, responding to incidents and supporting emergency procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, guest zones and restricted sections.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify and report security risks.
• Control access to restricted areas and oversee movement of visitors, staff and contractors.
• Observe CCTV feeds and promptly report suspicious activities.
• Protect hotel property, equipment and assets from theft, damage or unauthorized access.
• Respond quickly to incidents, disturbances, accidents and emergencies, including fire evacuation and medical situations.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, visitors, lost‑and‑found items and other security activities.
• Enforce hotel security policies professionally and respectfully.
• Assist with crowd control during events and busy periods.
• Ensure proper handling of keys, access cards and other security equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding guests, staff and hotel operations.
• Perform any other security‑related duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school certificate or equivalent.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and nights.
• Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Honest, responsible, alert and trustworthy.
• Calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• First aid knowledge (advantageous).
• CCTV monitoring.
• Basic understanding of emergency procedures.
