Sales Officer

About the role

The Sales Officer will drive new business acquisition and nurture existing client relationships for a manufacturing and warehousing company based in Lagos. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop sales techniques, negotiation skills, and industry knowledge in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and contact prospective clients through cold calling, networking and digital outreach.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight product features, benefits and value propositions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts to close deals and meet monthly sales quotas.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and cross‑selling.
• Track and analyse sales metrics, pipeline progress and competitor activity using CRM software.
• Assist in delivery coordination and waybill processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar sales role.
• Fluent in English and at least one Nigerian local language (Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa); French is a plus.
• Fast learner with a proactive attitude.
