Sales Officer

About the role

Hyves Technology is seeking a proactive Sales Officer to drive revenue growth in the Lagos market. The role focuses on executing sales plans, generating leads, and building strong client relationships within the banking and finance sector.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sales plans to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, cold‑calling, networking and industry events.
• Maintain and forecast a robust sales pipeline, reporting progress to management.
• Provide market and client insights to product and management teams.
• Negotiate and close sales agreements while ensuring accurate use of CRM and other sales tools.
• Maintain key client relationships, resolve issues and advise management on strategic client needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align offerings with client requirements and support product positioning.
• Participate in regular sales meetings and provide daily/weekly updates to the line manager.

Required profile

• Minimum OND qualification in a relevant field.
• 1‑2 years of field sales experience in FinTech, HealthTech, EdTech, enterprise or retail technology.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, integrity and ethical conduct.
• Knowledge of the cooperative space is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
