Sales & Marketing Officer

About the role

Swift Consulting is seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Officer to drive new business opportunities and promote its logistics, delivery, and haulage services in the Lagos market. The role combines proactive lead generation with strategic marketing initiatives to expand the company’s client base.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, social media and other marketing channels.
• Promote the company’s logistics, delivery, haulage and related services.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals and quotations.
• Follow up on leads and convert prospects into paying customers.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitors and emerging opportunities.
• Develop and implement marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility and sales.
• Meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, customer interactions and conversions.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare regular sales and marketing reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in sales, marketing or business development, preferably within logistics, transportation or a related industry.
• Proven ability to generate leads and convert prospects into customers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong customer relationship management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
