Sales Manager

About the role

FMR Agency is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead its retail, fashion and FMCG business development across Nigeria and beyond. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships and guiding a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to increase revenue.
• Identify and secure new retail partners, distributors, stockists and franchise opportunities.
• Build and manage relationships with B2B, B2C and B2G clients.
• Explore new markets and expansion opportunities locally and internationally.
• Lead negotiations and close strategic commercial partnerships.
• Support and coach the sales team to meet performance targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports for management.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure successful growth initiatives.
• Assist in developing scalable retail and franchise models.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development or commercial leadership.
• Proven track record of driving growth in retail, fashion, FMCG or consumer goods.
• Strong experience building distributor, wholesale or retail partner networks.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management abilities.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Consistently achieved ambitious sales targets.
• Willingness to travel for business development activities.
