Sales Engineer

About the role

LD&D Consulting is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales of industrial products such as bearings, pumps, valves, and lubricants across Lagos and Abuja. You will combine technical knowledge with consultative selling to meet revenue targets and expand market share.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales budgets and growth targets.
• Develop new business through direct client visits and referrals.
• Promote and sell a portfolio of engineering spares and related products.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Provide technical advice and product recommendations during site surveys and demonstrations.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Represent the brand professionally while protecting premium pricing.

Required profile

• BSc or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in engineering spares or lubricants.
• Experience selling to FMCG, F&B, construction, cement, or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
• Target‑driven, ambitious, and resilient with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to perform field work and client visits.
