Sales Advocate

About the role

Fortis Global Insurance Plc, a technology‑driven insurer in Nigeria, is looking for a Sales Advocate to promote its life and general insurance products. The role involves identifying prospects, presenting coverage options and supporting customers throughout the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets.
• Generate leads through networking, cold calling and digital channels.
• Build and maintain client relationships, guiding them to suitable insurance solutions.
• Assist customers with claims and provide post‑sale support.
• Utilise CRM tools to track activities and analyse sales data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or HND from a recognized Nigerian university; degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in sales or insurance.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable working in a hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Problem‑solving, data analysis and time‑management skills.
