Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of Downtown Grill Nigeria’s flagship outlet in Lagos. The role combines front-of-house and back-of-house oversight, ensuring high standards of service, food quality and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure smooth order processing.
• Supervise and manage front-of-house and kitchen staff, including scheduling, attendance and performance monitoring.
• Maintain excellent customer service, promptly handling complaints and feedback.
• Monitor food quality, hygiene standards and compliance with operational policies.
• Track inventory, coordinate stock replenishment and implement waste-reduction measures.
• Analyse daily sales, prepare operational reports and ensure targets are met.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in any discipline; hospitality management is an advantage.
• Completed mandatory NYSC programme.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a restaurant, café, QSR or similar food-service business.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory management and customer service.
• Residence in Yaba, Lagos.
