Recruitment, Selection & GESI Officer

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Recruitment, Selection & GESI Officer to lead end-to-end hiring processes for the iDICE BPO South-West Programme. The role will ensure inclusive recruitment that reaches women, youth, persons with disabilities and other underserved groups while maintaining high standards of fairness and data protection.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor the full recruitment cycle, meeting programme timelines and targets.
• Design and implement inclusive recruitment strategies that promote gender equality and social inclusion.
• Conduct community outreach, awareness campaigns and stakeholder engagement to attract qualified applicants.
• Screen applications, verify eligibility and assess candidates against programme criteria.
• Coordinate assessments, interviews and selection activities ensuring transparency and merit-based decisions.
• Collaborate with programme teams on candidate evaluation, selection and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records, databases and generate regular reports on diversity metrics and programme performance.
• Handle candidate enquiries, grievances and resolve issues promptly.
• Engage with community leaders, training providers, government agencies and other partners to strengthen outreach.
• Monitor recruitment performance, recommend improvements and ensure compliance with donor regulations, safeguarding policies and organisational standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Sciences, Public Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, workforce development or programme implementation.
• Experience working on donor-funded programmes and familiarity with GESI principles.
• Strong analytical, reporting and data management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
