About the role

renmoney is building a category‑defining financial institution that expands credit access for under‑banked individuals and small businesses across Nigeria. The Recovery Manager leads the performance of Non‑Performing Loans (NPL) and written‑off recoveries, driving results through data‑focused strategies and a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve 100%+ of monthly NPL and written‑off recovery targets, translating them into daily run‑rates.
• Conduct daily war‑room reviews, monitor PTP conversion, RPC rates, contactability and agent productivity.
• Design and execute data‑driven recovery strategies, segment portfolios, and improve PTP kept rates.
• Recruit, coach and retain high‑performing recovery talent, fostering a disciplined performance culture.
• Provide insight‑rich executive reporting, forecast month‑end outcomes and flag profitability risks.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in recoveries, preferably in consumer lending or fintech.
• Proven record of consistently meeting or exceeding recovery targets.
• Strong analytical capability and fluency with data.
