Radiographer

About the role

OneHealth is seeking a qualified Radiographer to join its imaging team in Marina, Lagos. The successful candidate will produce high‑quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Operate X‑ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound and other imaging modalities according to protocols.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and answer questions.
• Apply radiation protection measures and use appropriate shielding.
• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to select imaging techniques.
• Review images for quality, make adjustments, and document results.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting any faults promptly.
• Ensure infection control, safety procedures, and patient confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiography from an accredited university.
• Registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
• Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Radiographer.

Required skills

• Operation of X‑ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound equipment.
• Patient positioning for diagnostic imaging.
• Radiation safety and protection protocols.
• Image quality control and parameter adjustment.
• Contrast media administration.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology.
• Image analysis to identify abnormalities.
• Basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Accurate documentation of procedures and results.
