Quality Assurance Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

Ultimum Limited, a fast‑growing beverage manufacturer in Nigeria, is looking for a senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead inspection, testing and quality assurance activities across its production lines. The role focuses on ensuring product safety, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all quality, food safety and environmental activities within the plant.
• Implement and monitor the QFS step‑change plan and culture development initiatives.
• Develop and execute quality management programs across the entire supply chain.
• Lead QFS audits, track performance, manage corrective actions and close‑out processes.
• Provide training on QFS principles to staff at all levels.
• Report monthly QFS metrics in line with KORE, ULs and legal requirements.
• Support new product commercialization and validation activities.
• Ensure waste disposal complies with company, national and international environmental standards.
• Manage consumer complaints, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulators such as NAFDAC, SON and environmental agencies.

Required profile

• Degree or HND in Science or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a CSD manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in operational QFS, food safety and quality management.
