Project Manager – Real Estate

About the role

GTL Properties Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of its real estate projects in Lagos. You will act as the primary liaison with clients, investors, contractors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project timelines, budgets, and resource strategies for commercial and residential developments.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including architects, engineers, surveyors, contractors, and vendors.
• Prepare and present detailed project documentation to senior management and external partners.
• Identify new project opportunities, prepare proposals, and build strong client relationships.
• Monitor project financials, implement cost‑control measures, and ensure profitability.
• Provide strategic input on market trends, competitive positioning, and client needs.
• Assess and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Lead post‑project evaluations, capture lessons learned, and refine delivery processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years progressive experience in real‑estate project management, with at least 4 years in a senior management capacity.
• Master’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or Business Administration (MBA) is an advantage.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, RICS, or COREN are strongly preferred.
