Facility Manager

About the role

The Facility Manager will assist in supervising maintenance and cleaning activities across the company's housing facilities, ensuring a safe, secure and well‑presented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance work, cleaning, and renovations, checking that work by staff or contractors meets standards.
• Inspect building structures, identify needed repairs, and follow up on deficiencies.
• Respond to emergencies and urgent issues promptly.
• Maintain general safety and security, monitor access, and oversee the appearance of the facilities.
• Initiate and review maintenance plans, specifications and asset registers.
• Coordinate and lead multi‑disciplinary teams including maintenance, grounds and custodial staff.
• Assist in procurement, contract and lease management.
• Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• BSC/HND in Estate Management or related field.
• Background in estate/facility management with 3‑5 years of experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• High level of integrity, teamwork orientation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good business sense, negotiation skills and numerical aptitude.
