Project Manager

About the role

Melos Consulting is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead ISP and carrier‑grade network infrastructure projects in Nigeria. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensure compliance with NCC guidelines, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, budget and execute ISP and carrier‑grade network infrastructure projects.
• Manage network inventory, audits and records for accurate planning and reporting.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, finance, legal, and customer service teams as well as external vendors and regulators.
• Conduct feasibility studies, review site surveys, network designs and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Provide presales support, develop technical proposals, cost estimates and project timelines.
• Serve as primary liaison between clients, vendors and internal teams, handling change requests and contractual obligations.
• Track KPIs, prepare status reports, dashboards and financial tracking for senior management.
• Oversee acceptance testing, commissioning and seamless project handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field (Master’s a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in the telecom industry, including network engineering or design.
• Relevant project management certification (PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner).

Required skills

• PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner
• Optical/transport networking certifications (e.g., Nokia NRS I/II, Huawei HCIA/HCIP‑Transmission, Ciena, Infinera)
• ITIL Foundation
• CCNP Service Provider or equivalent IP/MPLS certification
• Certified Fiber Optic Technician / OTDR

• Competitive monthly salary between NGN 1,200,000 and NGN 1,500,000.
