Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver projects within the mining, energy and metals sector. The role involves planning, coordinating teams, managing budgets and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Define project scope, deliverables, and milestones.
• Coordinate project teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and performance.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks.
• Track budgets and project expenditure.
• Prepare project status reports.
• Manage project documentation and stakeholder meetings.
• Ensure project quality standards are maintained.
• Manage changes to project scope and requirements.
• Resolve project issues and appropriately escalate risks.
• Conduct post‑project evaluations and lessons‑learned reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum of an HND in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Management or related discipline.
• PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
• At least 3 years of project management experience.
• Strong planning, leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent risk‑management and problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project‑management software.
