Professional Driver – Lagos & Ogun State

About the role

We are seeking a reliable professional driver to operate vehicles safely across Lagos and Ogun State. The role involves transporting passengers and ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Drive vehicles responsibly, adhering to the Nigerian Highway Code and transport policies.
• Complete trip tickets, record fuel consumption, run hours, and mileage.
• Maintain vehicle log books, insurance, fitness certificates, and registration documents.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections and schedule maintenance or service appointments.
• Report faults, maintenance needs, and any incidents to the supervisor.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness, both exterior and interior, before each journey.
• Check and maintain all equipment allocated to the vehicle, including spare tire and communication devices.

Required profile

• High School Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience with a clean driver’s licence.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and ability to communicate in English.
• Knowledge of Nigerian traffic rules, vehicle safety systems, and minor repair procedures.
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform basic vehicle checks.
