Production Supervisor

About the role

Kenex Konsults International is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations at its Lagos facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that production output meets quality, quantity and delivery targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities, monitor performance and enforce SOPs.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
• Lead, train and motivate production staff, conduct shift briefings and performance reviews.
• Conduct routine quality inspections and work with the QA team on corrective actions.
• Enforce HSE policies, ensure proper PPE use and address workplace hazards.
• Monitor equipment performance, coordinate preventive maintenance and report faults.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports and track material consumption.
• Identify operational challenges and recommend process improvements to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or a related field.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning, quality control and GMP standards.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality management systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using production reporting software.
