Product Designer

About the role

Quidax is building the future of finance in Africa through crypto, and needs a Product Designer to own the end‑to‑end user experience for a dedicated product pillar. You will work in a cross‑functional squad alongside product managers and engineers, championing the user at every step.

Key responsibilities

• Design full user journeys, wireframes, and high‑fidelity interfaces for a specific product area such as Payments or Onboarding.
• Plan, execute, and synthesize usability studies and user interviews to validate feature designs.
• Create detailed developer handoff files and perform design QA on builds to ensure implementation matches intent.
• Identify gaps in the component library and propose new patterns to the Design System Lead.

Required profile

• Problem solver who starts with the user problem and iterates quickly through wireframes.
• Visual executor with a high bar for polished, production‑ready UI designs.
• User advocate comfortable running usability tests and acting on feedback.
• Autonomous worker who can manage time and priorities within a squad environment.
