Procurement Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing and purchasing of food, beverage and operational supplies for our hotel in Lagos. The role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and compliance with hotel standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop procurement plans, forecast needs and consolidate purchases across departments.
• Source and purchase perishable and dry F&B items, equipment and general consumables.
• Negotiate contracts, maintain supplier relationships and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, stock levels and ensure FIFO inventory management.
• Raise and reconcile purchase orders, monitor expenditure against budget and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, financial controls, food safety regulations (e.g., NAFDAC) and other regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with department heads and attend operational meetings to anticipate procurement needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement or supply-chain experience, preferably in hospitality, food service or FMCG.
• Experience managing both perishable food and general goods procurement.
• Strong negotiation, budgeting and inventory management abilities.
• Commercial awareness, proactive problem-solving and high integrity.

• Procurement software (experience preferred)
