Portfolio Manager

About the role

The Portfolio Manager will oversee a diverse set of investment, loan, and insurance portfolios, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives and risk appetite. This role involves close interaction with high‑value clients and internal risk, credit, and actuarial teams to drive performance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor assigned portfolios, regularly reviewing performance and rebalancing as needed.
• Identify, assess, and monitor financial, credit, market and operational risks, keeping exposure within approved limits.
• Conduct financial analysis of statements, market trends and macro‑economic conditions, producing models and forecasting reports.
• Maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, borrowers and corporate accounts, addressing complex client concerns.
• Research investment opportunities, execute asset allocation decisions and benchmark returns against market indices.
• Oversee loan and credit portfolios, track repayments, defaults and collaborate on restructuring actions.
• Monitor insurance policy portfolios, analyze premium income, claims ratios and profitability.
• Prepare data‑driven performance reports for senior leadership and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• BSc degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in portfolio management or a similar financial role.
