Plastic Surgeon – Lagos

About the role

The Nigeria China Friendship Hospital is seeking an experienced Plastic Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary team in Lagos. You will provide both reconstructive and cosmetic surgical care, ensuring high standards of patient safety and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop appropriate surgical and non‑surgical treatment plans.
• Perform reconstructive and cosmetic procedures in line with established medical standards.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments and deliver detailed consultations.
• Monitor post‑operative recovery, provide follow‑up care, and manage complications.
• Educate patients on procedures, risks, expected outcomes, and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date medical records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and a valid practicing license.
• Fellowship or specialization in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Plastic Surgeon.
• Strong surgical expertise with extensive knowledge of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient‑management abilities.
• Professionalism, compassion, and meticulous attention to detail.
