Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Pharmacist to join Divine Services in Lagos, Marina on a part‑time basis. The role involves ensuring safe dispensing of medicines, providing patient counseling and supporting community health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret prescriptions, prepare, label and dispense medications while ensuring legal compliance.
• Conduct safety checks for allergies, drug‑drug and drug‑food interactions.
• Collect and safely dispose of expired or unwanted medicines.
• Provide medication counseling, OTC advice and follow‑up on long‑term therapy adherence.
• Perform point‑of‑care services such as blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol testing.
• Administer adult vaccinations, contraception services and health promotion campaigns.
• Manage inventory, order stock and maintain regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Pharm.D. with a valid practicing licence.
• Minimum 12 months of pharmacy experience (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of drug dosages, interactions and pharmaceutical regulations.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy management software.
• Basic computer applications.
