Pharmacist Assistant

About the role

The Pharmacist Assistant will support the pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations, ensuring medications are properly handled and customers receive accurate product guidance. This full‑time position is based in Lagos and focuses on inventory control, shelf organization, and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with organizing and preparing non‑dispensing medications, receiving and shelving pharmaceutical products.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular expiry checks, remove expired items, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Guide customers to appropriate over‑the‑counter products and refer prescription‑related queries to the pharmacist.
• Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy shelves and work areas while adhering to regulatory and safety guidelines.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient and prescription information at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum OND certificate.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a pharmacy setting.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Proximity to Ogba, Agege, or Ikeja areas.
• Strong attention to detail and respect for safety procedures.
