Operations Readiness Program Manager – Nigeria

About the role
Zipline is looking for an Operations Readiness Program Manager to lead the launch of multiple Long Range Platform sites across Nigeria. You will be responsible for ensuring each site is fully prepared – from training staff to securing approvals – so that the first flight can be executed safely and reliably.
Key responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end operational readiness for 3–6 concurrent site launches, from planning through first flight and early stabilization.
- Maintain an integrated program plan with milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Define and enforce clear go/no‑go criteria and measurable acceptance standards for safety, staffing, training, and certification.
- Drive cross‑functional alignment across engineering, regulatory, training, and operations teams.
- Make launch decisions, track progress, and raise the operational bar to accelerate site readiness while ensuring safety and reliability.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing complex, multi‑site programs in challenging environments.
- Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and communicate decisions clearly.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and with high safety standards.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and obtaining operational approvals.
