Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day running of our gym branch in Port Harcourt, ensuring that facilities, equipment and services meet the highest standards. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members while driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations, including routine inspections and swift resolution of operational issues.
• Ensure gym equipment, changing rooms, reception and workout areas are clean, functional and aligned with DSG standards.
• Manage equipment maintenance schedules, repairs and coordinate with service providers.
• Control inventory of supplies, track usage and reorder as needed.
• Identify and reduce unnecessary expenses, monitor cost control measures and reconcile operational records with actual activities.

Required profile

• Experience in gym operations, facility management or a comparable operational role.
• Strong organisational, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, responsible and customer‑focused mindset.
• Willingness to work long hours and manage a team effectively.
