Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to drive the execution of our go‑to‑market strategies and support expansion across target markets in Nigeria. The role will bridge product, marketing, compliance and finance teams while managing partnerships with financial institutions and technology partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support the rollout of market entry and expansion plans, conducting localized research on user behavior, financial needs and operational risks.
• Identify growth opportunities, target customer segments and potential partner channels.
• Serve as the operational liaison for financial institutions, tech partners and regulators, overseeing onboarding, due diligence and ongoing relationship management.
• Represent the leadership team at ecosystem events, stakeholder meetings and partnership engagements.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, compliance and finance teams to ensure smooth operational flow and translate frontline feedback into product and process improvements.
• Track progress of key initiatives, prepare status reports, dashboards and decision memos for senior leadership.
• Own special projects or pilots testing new operational models, markets or product features.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, economics, finance or a related field (MBA a plus).
• 2+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting or fintech/business development.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a bias for clarity and action.
• Self‑starter who thrives on ownership, can switch between big‑picture thinking and on‑the‑ground execution.

Required skills

• Experience with financial or SaaS products in emerging markets (preferred).
• Familiarity with digital financial systems, customer onboarding processes and regulatory considerations.
