Technical Lead - IT Infrastructure & Enterprise Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Lead to serve as the technical authority across residency engagements in Lagos, Nigeria. You will ensure technical standards, architectures, and best practices are applied across multiple customer environments while mentoring and developing a team of Resident Engineers. You will report to the Service Delivery Manager and collaborate with PMO and Sales/Account teams to deliver solutions built on Dell Infrastructure, multi‑vendor environments, data centre technologies, cloud platforms, and AI‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for Resident Engineers across multiple customer accounts, providing guidance on solution design, implementation, and operational support.
• Validate technical requirements and solution designs, ensuring alignment with approved architectures, standards, and best practices.
• Support data centre operations and modernisation initiatives, leading troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for complex issues.
• Mentor and coach resident engineers and technical staff, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with PMO, Sales, and Account teams to drive delivery, customer satisfaction, and on‑site execution at Dell and customer sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure and solution delivery.
• Proven experience in data centre operations, modernisation, and multi‑vendor enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and hybrid solutions.
• Experience with AI and automation technologies.
• Relevant certifications in Dell Technologies, cloud platforms, and/or AI; ITIL knowledge is a plus.
