Operations and Commercial Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an Operations and Commercial Assistant to support our operations and commercial teams in Lagos. The role involves coordinating customer orders, managing commercial documentation, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the operations and commercial teams.
• Coordinate customer orders, quotations, and documentation from inquiry through to delivery.
• Prepare and follow up on sales quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and related commercial documents.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely execution of business transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant teams to maintain stock availability.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, procurement, contracts, and operational activities.
• Assist in preparing reports on sales performance, operational activities, and key business metrics.
• Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities and maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and escalate complex matters when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations, commercial administration, or supply chain.
• Experience in FMCG, distribution, or consumer goods is a strong advantage.
• Must be based in Lagos and available to work fully on‑site.
