Network Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Network Administrator to join Sophia ERP Limited in Lagos. The role involves managing and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure and providing first‑line technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points and VPN connections.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure high availability.
• Manage LAN/WAN environments, internet services and wireless networks.
• Implement and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls and endpoint protection.
• Perform regular network assessments, capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Support server administration tasks such as updates, patch management and routine maintenance.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams and inventory records.
• Provide first‑level technical support for hardware, software and network problems.
• Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers and peripheral devices.
• Assist in testing and deploying software applications and conduct user training.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with up to 12 months of experience in network administration.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow IT policies and standards.
