About the role
We are looking for a motivated Mining Engineer to join our team in Lagos. The role involves planning and designing mining operations for mineral extraction while ensuring safety, environmental protection, and efficient production.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and design mines for mineral extraction.
- Supervise mining operations and workers.
- Ensure compliance with mining regulations and safety standards.
- Manage mining equipment and production activities.
- Oversee land rehabilitation and environmental protection.
Required profile
- Hardworking, resilient and ready for long‑term business trips to remote areas.
- Ability to test, inspect and grade fluorite ore.
- Experience in trade, purchasing, laboratory work, or mine production management.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and data analysis.
- Fluorite ore testing and grading.
- Mining equipment management.
