Merchandiser

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Merchandiser to join our retail team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for ensuring our products are well‑stocked, attractively displayed, and promoted across assigned stores in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• In‑store execution: visit assigned stores weekly to verify stock levels, maintain proper product placement and uphold brand visibility.
• Inventory & replenishment: monitor product availability, report low stock and coordinate restocking with store managers or distributors.
• New business development: identify and pitch to new stores, salons and beauty retailers to expand market presence.
• Brand advocacy: educate store staff and customers on product benefits, unique selling points and ongoing promotions.
• Sales tracking: collect sales data, competitor activity and pricing insights, and submit weekly reports.
• Promotions support: assist with in‑store activations, product demonstrations and campaign execution as needed.
• Relationship management: build strong relationships with store managers and attendants to secure prime shelf space.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of a Diploma.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar merchandising or sales role.
