Medical Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Medical Assistant to join our team in Lagos. You will support clinicians by handling patient interactions, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This is an entry‑level, full‑time position ideal for candidates eager to start a career in healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Interview patients and document basic medical history.
• Organise and schedule appointments.
• Update and file medical records and insurance reports.
• Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services.
• Check with patients and type up patients' charts.
• Assist during medical examinations.
• Produce and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
• Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments.

Required profile

• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
• Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise work.
• Strong social perceptiveness and service orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organisational and planning capabilities.
